Thermoforming
At Plastec, one process we use is vacuum forming, a streamlined version of thermoforming, to create unique parts. These include everything from food trays to race car parts. The capabilities of our vacuum former extend to blowing and sucking domes for light fixtures, custom protective covers, machinery parts and retail displays.
CNC Routering
We specialize in CNC routering custom and production parts to exact tolerances quickly and consistently. CNC or computer (or computerized) numerical control routering is one of the fastest ways to build functional prototypes, product molds, low to high volume production runs, and fixtures.
Laser Cutting / Engraving
With our State-of-the-Art laser equipment we can perform precision cutting on material sizes up to 52” x 96” (1330 x 2,400 mm) with positional accuracy of 0.01 mm. on many different materials such as acrylic, wood, aluminum bond and others. We can cut up to 25mm (1 inch) thick Plexiglas (acrylic sheet) and up to 12mm (1/2 inch) wood or MDF.
